Two centuries of character, gently brought up to date
Built around 1790, and once the village sweet shop, Bridge Hill Cottage has been carefully restored. The 200-year-old oak beams and inglenook fireplace now sit alongside fast wifi, a smart TV and a proper kitchen.
Two living rooms, three bedrooms and a private walled garden made for long summer evenings. It sleeps up to ten, and is looked after by Ali, Amanda & Michelle.

“Ali's place is the quirkiest and most interesting place I've stayed with from 10+ years of using Airbnb. We loved the piano with beginners' scores, the chess and go set, it even has a bar billiards! We had so much fun that we didn't even want to go out! Plus the place is absolutely stunning throughout, and all that we'd envisioned and more of a Cotswolds cottage. The location is brilliant as well, right next to a pub and a surprisingly big local supermarket, plus a short drive to the main destinations — a perfect base for exploring. ”K · June 2026
